Where Is My Home? is a short documentary film that explores identity, belonging, and the quiet weight of migration.

After ten years in the Netherlands, Adam looks back on a journey shaped by war, displacement, music, and rebuilding a life from scratch. Through personal memories, voice-over reflections, and visual contrasts between Syria and the Netherlands, the film asks a simple but deeply human question:

Where do you truly belong when your heart lives in two places?

This film was created during my masterclass at NPO Net in the Netherlands, under the mentorship of Yfke Nijland (Nieuwsuur). The project reflects both a personal journey and a cinematic exploration of home, identity, and resilience.

A story of loss and growth.
Of leaving, arriving, and becoming.
Of a home that may exist somewhere in between.
